Webinar hosted by ACPA (American College Personnel Association)

Higher education in the United States is by far and large a predominantly White space. The majority of professional employees identify as White and the systems in which all employees have to navigate are centered in Whiteness. The centralization of Whiteness while omitting other racial and cultural norms may lead to adverse mental health and physical health outcomes. This webinar will focus on the seminal research that explores the health outcomes of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) working in higher education. In addition, participants will learn some coping strategies that may lead to a decrease in the adverse health outcomes for BIPOC. This webinar is presented by ACPA's Minnesota Chapter (MNCPA).
