Lunch & Learn- Democracy Week
“Information We Can Trust”
Public trust in media is eroding. A recent Gallup poll shows two thirds of U.S. adults say they have little or no confidence in newspapers, TV and radio. Facing a crisis of confidence from their audience, journalists are digging into their role as America’s watchdogs. Join us for lunch as Spotlight PA’s Deputy Editor Sarah Anne Hughes explain why the newsroom is focusing on holding state government accountable, and why they’ve created a new position to support voting and election integrity, and providing information voters need to make informed decisions.
