Our Voices Reception

The Gettysburg College Gender and Sexuality Resource Center (GSRC) is proud to continue the Our Voices program again this year. Our Voices hopes to create a platform that elevates and celebrates the valuable voices of Gettysburg College students of all gender identities who have their own stories to tell. Help us build this powerful platform of gender expression by submitting your own expression – This year, we are accepting original written pieces (i.e. reflective monologues, poetry, short readings, etc.) as well as original visual art pieces (paintings, drawings, small sculptures, etc.) Submit written pieces and photos of art pieces (along with descriptions) via this form! Submissions close Thursday, March 7.
The call for original submissions for this year’s reception is open to current Gettysburg College students from all backgrounds, regardless of gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other identifier. Submissions selected for display will highlight a diversity of perspectives and lived experiences with stories written, created, performed, and/or presented by our own students! A reception will be held in the GSRC on Thursday, March 21 at 5:00 pm – Written works and visual art pieces will be displayed during the reception and submission creators will be invited to read, perform, describe or present their work if they choose.
