Tapping into the Gettysburg network is an excellent way to explore careers, seek opportunities, and build meaningful connections that may lead to jobs, internships, or mentoring relationships. Over 75 percent of internships and jobs are not advertised, so consider how you can make the most of the Gettysburg network with tips and suggestions from the Center for Career Engagement and BOLD Council.

+Network with BOLD Council members, hear personal anecdotes, and gain advice from alumni in the field in real time.

As the Assistant Director of Employer Engagement, developing and maintaining employer relationships is the core of what I do in order to facilitate meaningful opportunities for all Gettysburg students. I care deeply about supporting students in all areas of career development through career counseling appointments and other programming. With my background in clinical mental health counseling, student conduct work, and academic support services, I aim to develop students holistically.

Marc Goldman is the Executive Director of the Center for Career Engagement. Marc served as the Executive Director of the Yeshiva University Career Center for 10 years, and prior to that, he was an Associate Director at New York University’s Wasserman Center for Career Development, where he worked for 13 years. For nearly a decade, Marc was also an adjunct instructor at NYU in career, education, and life planning. Marc holds a Master of Arts and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Counseling and Personnel Services from the University of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Cornell University.
