We hope to be a resource for international students to spread awareness about any injustices their home country may be facing in addition to domestic issues in the USA as well. The cheerleading team can be seen chanting, dancing, and stunting on the track during football games in the fall season. we pump up the crowd with "pom letters", stunts, tumbling, and dance routines. The crowd especially loves our touchdown push-ups! Our squad consists of 25 members with diverse talents. The squad cheers at home football games, supporting the Bullets Football team through rain, shine, wind, cold, and heat. During the spring season, we review cheers, learn new stunts, and prepare ourseleves for the upcoming season!

This club goal is to create a safe space for all hispanic/latinos particularly for Dominicans Our club will focus on promoting aspects of our culture regarding our history, our traditions and how our sense of community is very important to us. Our goal is to shine a light or show another side to the hispanic/latino culture, regarding the struggles our country has endured in the past and what we are currently enduring, our struggles with self identity and to show similarities and differences within other Caribbean cultures. This club will try to have regular meetings during the beginning of the month and an event towards the middle or end of the month where the executive board either comes up with different small events like general meetings where we have discussions about important topics going on in our community in Gettysburg or in the world and also events like game nights with food and snacks. All of the events and activities are to bring people together to bond and to create a community and space for mutual understanding whether you are of Dominican descent or simply like to learn about the Dominican Republic.

The purpose of this organization is to promote and expand the knowledge of those interested in the field of archaeology regardless of prior experience or focus of study. Its mission is to foster reflective discourse surrounding the scholarly research and theory of archaeology and to further the reach of these discussions to the general culture of Gettysburg College. This would be accomplished through events, publications, and other activities deemed useful in advancing the organization’s mission.

The Mission of Clay Crew is to allow Gettysburg College students to continue the development of their technical skills in Ceramics and build upon their course learning, in addition to mentoring and aiding students currently enrolled in ceramics courses.

Membership grants students who have successfully completed a ceramics course at Gettysburg College continued access to the ceramics studio.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to join Clay Crew students must have completed an Intro to Ceramics course here at Gettysburg OR have approval by Tina Gebhart, our advisor.

The Gettysburg College Historical Society is a history club that brings together those genuinely interested in history and, consequently, does not discriminate based on major. It endeavors to spark historical conversation among all the members of the Gettysburg community and enable a trade of knowledge and perspectives on historical matters. This club's mission is to nurture fruitful and respectful historical discourse that provides application to the grander scheme of life. Its members should respect tradition but not be hindered by it. They should educate, but be imaginative in the ways that that can be done. Ultimately this is an open club designed for discussion, imagination, and action.

Gettysburg College is local to multiple state forests and beautiful hiking areas, including Michaux State Forest and Catoctin Mountain Park. We aim to educate whoever will listen on Marxism, socialism, class consciousness, intersectionality, solidarity, as well as capitalism, authoritarianism, liberalism, and imperialism. We will promote the former and condemn the latter.

We believe that freedom leads to enhanced quality of life for people of all classes, genders, sexualities, ethnicities backgrounds, abilities, and religions around the world, and we believe this is possible through an intersectional analysis of economic and political systems and how they interact alongside the social climate and history of a given region.

We believe that true freedom means lowering the obstacles that one has in one’s life. These obstacles consist of, but are not limited to: Capitalism, racism, sexism, ableism, anti-semitism, homophobia, transphobia, state control, and lack of access to resources.

The Guided Pathways provide thematic organization to Gettysburg College's co-curricular experiences, highlighting how students can gain and develop skills and use those skills to impact the world.

Through the Guided Pathways, students can purposefully select experiences, aligning those experiences with their interests and the skills they hope to strengthen. The Pathways also provide students with a framework to consider and language to articulate what they gained from each experience, how each experience builds upon others, and how those experiences complement their academic work.

Ultimately, the structure provided by the Guided Pathways enables students to communicate how their Gettysburg experience makes them compelling candidates for internships, graduate school admissions, and professional opportunities. It also prepares them for various pursuits as well-rounded human beings.
