To improve student-faculty engagement within the Economics Department. Identify and advocate for additional areas of action that can be taken - both in and out of the classroom - to enhance students' experiences. Work with faculty to suggest events and speakers to ensure diversity and inclusivity. When applicable, take an active role in interviews of job candidates including but not limited to lunches, research presentations, and teaching demonstrations. Coordinate department social media for outreach. Lead dialogues and/or events surrounding contemporary issues. Enhance student-faculty research collaboration.
