Inclusive Teaching Workshop Series
Ungrading 201: Practical Insights into Reimagining Assessment
Facilitator: Divonna Stebick
Time and location: Friday, February 21st, 12-1pm, Penn Hall Lyceum or via Teams

What if removing grades from assignments and tests could actually improve student learning? Ungrading challenges traditional assessment methods by shifting the focus to meaningful feedback, skill development, and student growth. In this Friday Forum, we’ll go beyond just defining ungrading, which can be found in this JCCTL Resource Guide.

Faculty and students (Elainee Veras Diaz, Katherine Speltz, Cat Holz, Jeongho Koh, Rebecca Ruggles) will share real-world strategies for implementing ungrading in your classroom, along with first-hand student perspectives on how this approach has impacted their learning experiences. Whether you're curious about trying ungrading or looking for ways to refine your current practices, this session will provide actionable ideas to transform how you assess and inspire your students.

JCCTL will provide lunch – please join us!
