Please join us for an information session on the Kolbe Summer Fellows program. This 8-week summer program allows students to advance their scholarly or creative interests through a research project in close collaboration with a faculty mentor during the summer before a student’s summer, junior, or senior year.
Kolbe Summer Fellows receive a $4,000 stipend and free on-campus housing, plus $500 in supplemental funds to be reimbursed for research expenses. Applications are due on March 3, 2024, at 11:59 pm.
Please register on Engage to receive the Zoom link.
The 45-minute session will be on Zoom and provide:
-
an overview of the program
-
a discussion of the application process
-
suggestions for how to develop a manageable summer research project
-
suggestions for identifying a faculty member as a possible mentor
-
insight into the student Kolbe Fellows experience
A recording will be sent after the session to everyone who has registered on Engage.
A second information session is on January 24, from 4-4:45 pm via Zoom.
