Come see a preview of the Opera Workshop on Monday, April 13th at 4pm in the Musselman Library Apse!

Join the spring 2026 Opera Workshop class for a special preview of "The Merry Widow"! Franz Lehár’s beloved operetta which premiered in 1905 remains as timely as ever. Set in glamorous 1920s Paris, the story follows the wealthy widow Hanna Glawari and the roguish Count Danilo Danilovitch - former lovers reunited amid a scheme to save Hanna’s homeland of Pontevedro from financial ruin. As sparks fly and secrets unfold, wit and stubbornness collide. Filled with lively dance and memorable melodies, this delightful preview is sure to leave your heart light and your toes tapping.
