✨ Danae Bowen – Senior English major and Africana Studies minor, and president of the BSU and the Anti-Racist Collaborative, Danae leads with courage, intelligence, and a deep commitment to inclusion. She has played a key role in organizing and presenting for MLK events, Black History Month programs, the Africana Studies Symposium, and Bystander Workshops, creating spaces for dialogue, learning, and community engagement. Through her leadership, she consistently uplifts student voices, advocates for equity, and fosters a more inclusive campus environment. Danae is a dedicated leader, a powerful advocate, and a strong supporter of her peers.

🎓 Eloisa Gordon-Mora, PhD – Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer. With over 25 years of experience in higher education and nonprofit leadership, she brings a deep commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion across the institution. She advises, supports, and advocates for students by addressing their personal, and professional needs, while also creating pathways for access, belonging, and success. Through strategic leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with campus partners, she works to build inclusive environments where all students feel seen, valued, and empowered. Her work continues to strengthen campus culture, foster community engagement, and ensure that student voices remain at the center of institutional progress.
