The 26th PCG fosters fosters discussion about and pays homage to those who served in the American Civil War with particular emphasis on the Federal unit known as the 26th Pennsylvania Emergency Militia Regiment (26th PEMR). We accomplish this through living history events, reenactments, club meetings/discussions, social media outreach, and club events.
The 26th PCG is a group of living historians based on the Gettysburg College campus. We make living history and re-enacting accessible to our campus community by lending all necessary clothing and supplies to our members free of cost. We support both military and civilian impressions.
