This session will help students think through how to use their academic research to inform and learn about their interests, passions, and potential careers. Students will have the opportunity to engage with the research tools at the library to see the wide variety of academic resources available and how it encompasses a range of topics. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about ways they can continue to engage with these and other tools beyond their Gettysburg College careers as alumni.

Here’s what you’ll learn:

  • Develop an understanding of how academic research connects to your passions and interests.
  • Distinguish among information search tools.
  • Utilize information tools in order to prepare for navigating the information landscape in your post-graduate pursuits.
See January Term for full information about the J-Term program for 2022.
