The Gettysburg College Jazz Ensemble (Amanda Heim, director), will celebrate Black History Month with the music of the great Wayne Shorter (1933-2023) on Saturday, February 24 at 8PM in the Majestic Theater. Remembering Shorter’s legacy as a great American composer, the band will perform several of his tunes, as well as music by Billy Strayhorn and Duke Ellington. Please join us!
