The Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony will perform its 2024 Masterworks concert on April 12th at 8 PM in the Majestic Theater, featuring the commissioning consortium premiere of Armando Bayolo’s Dispatches from the Anthropocene, Gustav Holst’s Second Suite in F, and a piece by Gettysburg College’s very own, Professor Avner Dorman. Spices, Perfumes, Toxins!, Dorman’s piece, arranged by Dr. Amanda Heim, will be performed with percussion soloists Zoey Cobb and John Tadlock. The concert will also feature a performance from the Conservatory’s Percussion Ensemble, directed by Professor Parker Fadoul. Tickets are $5 for adults and free for anyone 18 and under or with a Gettysburg College ID.
