The Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony's annual Family Pops Concert, Cartoon Carnival!, presents a program filled with beloved tunes from your favorite cartoons and animated classics! From the golden age of Saturday morning cartoons to modern Pixar masterpieces, this concert has something for everyone in the family to enjoy.

Conducted by Dr. Russell McCutcheon, the Wind Symphony invites you to sit back, relax, and enjoy familiar music spanning decades of animation history. The program opens with Cartoon Carnival, a nostalgic medley featuring Looney Tunes, Merrie Melodies, and Hanna-Barbera classics including "Meet The Flintstones" and "The Jetsons." Experience the groundbreaking ReBoot, the first completely computer-animated television series, and Daniel Montoya's original composition Release the Hounds, inspired by The Simpsons.

Superhero fans will enjoy themes from DC Comics Superheroes (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow), while video game enthusiasts will recognize the 1930s jazz-inspired soundtrack from the retro-animated game Cuphead. The concert features a stunning Fantasia Suite with "Dance of the Hours," "Night on Bald Mountain," and "The Pines of Rome" from Disney's iconic Fantasia and Fantasia 2000. The evening concludes with Michael Giacchino's beloved score from Pixar's The Incredibles, recently honored with preservation in the National Film Registry.

Tickets: $5 for adults | Free for children under 18 and Gettysburg College ID holders
