About Us

Gettysburg Thrifts is a campus-wide nonprofit organization providing acessible, sustainable, and affordable second-hand shopping for students on Gettysburg College campus, encouraging DIY clothing practices, and raising money for environmental and social justice organizations (Previously Hurricane Relief funds and Adams County Rescue Mission). Through our campus flea markets and donation drives, we challenge fast fashion culture by raising awareness about the environmental and social impacts of clothing production and disposal. We empower students to make more thoughtful choices while fostering a community rooted in sustainability, solidarity, and social responsibility.
