As a part of the EarthFest Celebration at the Painted Turtle Farm, come join the GLC from 3:30pm-7pm for our Outdoor Skills 101 in the field adjacent to the farm. In this hands-on experience, you will learn sustainable fire building skills, basic navigation with a map and compass, learn the artistry of knots and master tent and shelter set ups. Whether you are a curious beginner or you want to refresh your outdoor knowledge, this session will provide practical skills to build confidence in the outdoors. This is open to everyone! Stop by during the Earth Day Celebration to learn a new skill, get to know our staff, and make a S’More!
