Hello!It is my honor to welcome you all to the first Gettysburg College Model United Nations Conference. Model UN has become my passion in college and I am so excited to share with you all what our conference has to offer. Having joined the executive board two years ago, we always hoped to host a conference but never had the time to do so. But now, after a year of planning, I have the honor of leading this conference as Secretary-General. I know that this conference will be something special and am so proud of all the members of the club that have put their time and energy into making this conference possible.

Model UN brings people together. Whether it be on the collegiate or high school level, Model UN has thrived due to a vibrant community filled with people from all walks of life. I hope that this conference is not only educational, but also allows you to make friends and learn about topics you might not have previously considered. We hope that your GETTMUN experience will include both lively debate and a great social atmosphere, hopefully making memories for years to come.

As I go into my third year I hope to bring you a conference that makes you love MUN as much as I do. I truly hope to see you all in October.
