About Us

By bringing an Amnesty International chapter to Gettysburg College it is our mission to expand the general purpose of the NGO Amnesty International to “Work to protect people wherever justice, freedom, truth, and dignity are denied”. On campus it is our goal to educate and mobilize our students for generations to come in order to fight against injustices globally. We hope to be a resource for international students to spread awareness about any injustices their home country may be facing in addition to domestic issues in the USA as well. Through our organization's efforts I am confident that Gettysburg College will progressively produce graduates who are knowledgeable, passionate and ready to be the change as well.
