About Us

The mission of the German Club is to provide students with opportunities to explore German culture and develop their language skills. The German Club seeks to foster and support the study of German by providing an inclusive forum for students of all backgrounds and ability levels to engage with the fascinating and relevant cultures of German-speaking lands beyond the classroom. Through regular meetings and collaborations with other German- and internationally-oriented student groups, the German Club seeks to enrich the social and intellectual dimensions of student life as well as sustain and enhance the experience of studying German at Gettysburg College.
