Elections

Elections are the responsibility of the Parlimentarian of the Student Senate. For first year senator positions, elections start at the beginning of every year. For every other grade year, elections start at the end of each spring semester. Executive board elections also start at the end of every spring semester.

Presidential & Vice Presidential Elections

  1. Qualifications

    To run for President/Vice President, one must be a rising junior or senior, must have a cumulative gpa of 2.50, and must be studying on campus for the full year of term.

  2. Application and Election

    The application is now open

  3. Join the current executive board in an informational session March 21st and 22nd at 4pm in Mara Auditorium, where you can ask anything and everything about elections. You will also have the chance to have a one on one session in a break out room with certain executive members if you are interested in running for their position.

    Join us  to hear more from the candidates, as they will be sharing their views and goals of how senate will work for you during their terms.

    All Gettysburg Students are encouraged to have their voice heard and vote.

Technocratic Elections

  1. Qualifications

    To run for a technocratic position one have a semester of senate experience and a GPA of 2.5 or higher

  2. Application and Election

    To run for a senator position or class officer position, one must have a cumulative gpa of 2.50, and must be studying on campus for the full year of term.

    Voting opens the week of Sept. 4th

    All grade levels are encouraged to vote for their respective class senators (4) and class officers for the upcoming year.
