To this end, the NPHC promotes the well-being of its affiliate fraternities and sororities, facilitates the establishment and development of local councils of the NPHC and provides leadership training for its constituents." -National Website

The Interfraternity Council (IFC) is the governing body for the 6 North American Interfraternity Conference (NIC) fraternities, as well as 2 additional fraternities at Gettysburg College. The IFC oversees inter-fraternal activities, adjudicates conduct violations, and works to align the fraternity community with the mission of Gettysburg College.
